What Silica Gel Does
Silica gel sachets adsorb moisture vapour from the air inside a sealed package or container – maintaining a drier microclimate that prevents condensation, corrosion, mould growth, and clumping. They are the small ‘Do Not Eat’ packets found inside shoe boxes, vitamin bottles, electronics packaging, and food containers globally.
Storage Use
Add anti-mould sachets to any box going into long-term storage – clothing, documents, leather goods, electronics. One or two 10 g sachets per box significantly reduce moisture-related damage over months of storage, particularly during Kenya’s rainy seasons.
Tip: Silica gel can be reactivated by placing sachets in an oven at 120°C for 1–2 hours – reusable multiple times.
Export & Product Packaging
